Hi, I’m Gerri.
Final year Music student at King’s College London.
tactile origins
and
digital storytelling.
At Dog-Eared, my vision is to uncover the profound narratives hidden within the objects that shape our learning and culture. From graphite to circuits, I trace the threads that connect our physical world to our digital future, revealing the micro-narratives that form our macro-understanding. This space is a continuation of my commitment to articulating the stories that define us.
Story
At Dog-Eared, I believe every profound narrative begins with a single, tactile anchor. A dog-eared page, a vintage circuit board, or a forgotten textbook. I take these specific points of origin and trace their lineage through the intricate webs of education, technology, and modern culture. My storytelling is a process of expansion—transforming the micro into the macro to reveal the hidden themes that shape our collective understanding of the world. I look for the universal truths hidden in the particular, using specific concepts as gateways to broader cultural commentaries.
